职位描述：

Role: 

To manage our material technical department, which covers, material development, colour management, testing laboratory and material quality assurance. To interact with internal departments as well as suppliers and customers.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:   

- Manage our technical departments 50+ staff.

- To analyse materials at the earliest possible opportunity to ensure the fabric performance can meet with our customers’requirements.

- To work closely with our Design/Sales and Fabric Sourcing teams to prevent materials that are not fit for purpose being offered to our customers.

- To highlight any performance exceptions to the Sales & Merchandiser Departments and liaise with end customerprior to material ordering.

- To liaise with ourProduct Development Team for any performance issues that may impact on garment manufacture.

- To assist and drive continual process improvement within the material technical department to ensure the maximum value of the department.

- To help review material colour submissions.

- To advise fabric issues (when found in or before production) to the mills and negotiate solutions/claims.

- To build good working relationships with our pre-production departments, customers and suppliers.

- To providematerial technical support to all areas of the business.

Experience
Qualifications in textiles/clothing

10 Years+ experience in this field.
Preferable knowledge of lingerie, swimwear and sportswear products
